A beautiful small deciduous or semi evergreen tree of loose habit with bloomy young shoots leading to a glaucous colour later, gradually fading as the leaves mature. Clusters of white bell-like flowers are borne in long pendulous clusters, somewhat like lily-of-the-valley, in June and July.
