Large fleshy bright green, silver flecked sculptural leaves appear from mid spring onwards bearing many heads of red spathe- like flowers from early summer onwards. Prefers a sunny moist sheltered site but will grow in most areas. Excellent in containers and may be used as a conservatory plant.
