A rather unusual monotypic evergreen shrub from Chile for a sheltered sunny spot, handling temperatures as low as -10C. Masses of greenish yellow tubular flowers are borne amidst pungent scented foliage. Certainly a talking point, the smell of the leaves being described multiple ways from 'Roast Beef' to 'Unpleasant' and many in between. Grows to a height of about 2m (6'). Certainly one for the collectors.
