Tulip 'Hilde' (Tulipa cretica) is a rare beauty from the Cretan mountains, with petals that range from pale pink to almost white, blushed with deeper pink, and a yellow base inside. Despite its delicate appearance, this botanical tulip is remarkably strong and will naturalize when left undisturbed in a gritty, well-drained area. Each stem, contrasting deep green to maroon, holds up to three star-shaped flowers.
