These attractive easily grown alpines are great for troughs pots as well as sunny spots in the garden. Unusual green rosettes gradually darken as they reach the tips. These are borne in very neat tight whorls. Prefers a sunny well drained poor spot. Will grow almost without soil. Best in a poorer site where they seem to persist better, especially in the wet winters.
