One of the easiest of all alpine to grow. The 'Houseleeks' as they are commonly known need virtually no attention. At home in the poorest of soils, they actually seem to thrive on neglect. The harder they are grown the more reliable they become. Prefers a poor well drained sunny site. This variety had dark reddish tipped smallish rosettes. A lovely plant.
