A new variety to us and slightly controversial. Bright scarlet red flowers are attractively streaked with white. This is potentially caused by a virus, but we have studied this and decided that virus or not it is a good strong variety and there are many plants with intentionally introduced viruses to enhance the plant. Open to comments!! A lovely addition to the autumn garden, preferring a sunny moist site, but happy in most sunny spots. Height 45-60cm (1.5-2')
