With these parents it is hardly surprising that it looks like this. large trumpets with a beautiful flared rounded lid make this a real gem. Another superb plant from Les Burdett, it is vigorous and free branching. Pale pink with dark veins on 15" trumpets (may get larger yet). The pitchers keep well into the winter in a lovely red veined golden colour. A really lovely plant. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted. A really lovely plant. Small divisions.
