Sarracenia H340 'Premysl Otakar x (leucophylla x oreophylla)

Tall strong pitchers are what you would expect from this lovely hybrid. Pitchers are broad and upright with deep burgundy veining on a creamy-green base. These age to a dark burgundy with time, reaching an impressive height os 75-90cm when mature. A lovely plant all through.

Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. Efficient fly wasp catchers they grow in full sun in moist or wet acidic nutrient-less soils. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
