A rather nice pubescent leucophylla x alata from from Les Burdett. The pitchers are elegant and graceful with reddish brown veining. Pitchers are relatively short (although they may well get larger as the years progress), giving an almost ghostly look to the plant. Freely branching it is a good doer. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth.Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted, Small divisions.
