A seedling from S. 'Bigun' this is a strong healthy plant typical of its parentage. A good grower the pitchers colour up best towards the latter part of the year and their uright flared lids complement the red tubes. A stunner. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
