1990 Kew ex Slack clone 2. A truly stunning Adrian Slack hybrid. Pitchers are a beautiful golden green , heavily veined and with a red lip to them. Ruffled hood edges makes this a real gem. Unusual deep red flowers, held high, are borne in spring. A good hardy hybrid. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
