An elegant plant. The narrow green pitchers are finely veined with red throughout and are topped with a striking semi upright hood. No wavy edges to this one just a smooth crisp edge and a very pleasing heart shape. This attractive plant will reach a height of approximately 45cm. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. Efficient fly wasp catchers they grow in full sun in moist or wet acidic nutrient-less soils. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
