(25 seed minimum open pollinated) A very nice oreophila x leucophylla complex hybrid. Pitchers are early in the season, dying down just as the autumn crop emerges giving a very long season. Colour is superb, the pink lip contrasting so well with the pale creamy yellow pitcher. Height 30-60cm (12-24"). Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
