A very pretty plant. Sturdy green pitchers with red veins, a lovely wavy hood and a deep red lip. A vigorous plant which will reach approximately 55cm. This plant is divided to order, the plant you receive will be a large division bare rooted. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
