A stunning Psittacina x minor hybrid. With it's curved, deep red hood atop green pitchers with a scattering of pretty white dots this plant is both attractive and unusual.The pitchers may be short at 30cm but they are wide and chunky ensuring that this plant will always stand out. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
