(Minumum 25 seed per packet open pollinated) A very nice Sarracenia minor hybrid with a compact habit. The green pitchers become heavily veined with red at the top resulting in a deep red hood and these are adorned with very pretty white dots. An added attrraction is the lip which is a lovely deep red. An unusual addition to your collection. Will reach approximately 45cm (18") in height. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
