A tall and elegant Sarracenia flava hybrid. The green pitchers are finely veined with red. The mouth remains green but as the pitchers mature the under side of the hood becomes a lovely dark red. height of around 18-24". Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
