My favourite leucophylla (although this may well change). Short stocky pitchers on freely branching plants in a beautiful clear bright white. Veining is minimal. An all round beautiful plant but with these parents what do we expect? Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth.Good as container plants - stand in rain water spring to autumn, keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy. Excellent plants for fly catching on a sunny window sill. Excellent in a sunny conservatory or unheated greenhouse as they are not quite as hardy as some of the other Plants. May be sent bare rooted. Small divisions.
