One of the most interesting of the leucophylla pitcher plants. As a group the leucophyllas are some of the most brightly coloured anyway but as well as having white topped pitchers that are heavily veined with burgundy it also has spectacular double flowers April - June. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
