A really attractive Salvia, reaching 60-90cm (2-3') in height and flowering throughout the summer and autumn months. Preferring a sunny well drained spot it makes quite a statement with its deep royal blue flowers. These are complimented by black sheaths giving a lovely two tone effect. Fresh green leaves add to the attraction. Take cuttings as a precaution against winter losses.
