A new variety which is shorter and longer flowered than the original one. Beautiful grey foliaged shrub with upright panicles of lavender blue flowers during late summer and autumn. A useful shrub for its long flowering period, also looking good in the herbaceous border with other late flowering plants such as Asters and Heleniums. Prune hard in spring. Prefers a sunny well drained site. 30-45cm (12-18")
