You wouldn't know this was a Pelargonium (Geranium) if it wasn't on the label. This stunning species, introduced from South Africa around the 1780's, has the most amazingly dissected almost sticky leaves. These bear numerous pale lilac-pink flowers throughout the growing season. Add balsam scented foliage and you have an amazing plant - certainly a talking point. Prefers a sunny moist spot unlike most in this family and when grown well can get to about 150cm (5') tall although 30-60cm is more normal. Excellent as a conservatory plant. Protect from frost.
