Papaver orientale 'Harvest Moon'
In this diverse and beautiful family of plants, the Oriental Poppies stand out as some of the finest. Their large, flamboyant flowers resemble crepe paper, each orange with a deep purplish black blotch at the base of every petal.
When in full bloom, they create a stunning spectacle. Plant in full sun for optimal growth. These poppies thrive in well-drained soil with moderate moisture levels. They are relatively low-maintenance and are excellent for attracting pollinators. Other plants that pair well with Papaver orientale include Hemerocallis (Daylilies), Delphiniums, and Lupins.
