A rather unuasual large tree somewhat resembling the Hornbeam. Golden cartkins are borne at the same time as soft yellow-green 'hop-like' flowers.These are followed by deeply ribbed fresh green leaves. A lovely plant for areas where it can fulfil its true majesty.Eventual height 15m (50')
