(25 Seed minimum open pollinated) What an amazing Sarracenia. Extremely rare and very beautiful hybrid. Supposedly bred by Adrian Slack (although we stand to be corrected on this). Huge deepest red frilly pitchers are borne on low growing plants. A very slow growing plant that takes many years to get to a decent size but is so well worth waiting for. Easy and reliable grows to about 30cm in height. Certainly the most stunning plant in our collection. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
