A rather splendid plant native to California. This evergreen small lax shrub or climber will flower for months. Pretty frilly reddish apricot trumpet-like flowers are borne amidst shiny leaves. Needs frost protection but is worth the extra effort. Prefers a sunny or semi shaded site where it can grow up to 1m (3') in height.
