A magnificent hybrid Magnolia, ultimately reaching 9-12m (30' +) high. Large tulip shaped flowers in a lovely pink during April and May on bare branches. Prefers acidic soil. Plant in a site protected from the early morning sun and in plenty of peat. A fully grown specimen is a superb site, one of the better varieties.
