This hardy Lobelia can be used to good effect at the back of the herbaceous border to give a splash of deep red at a time when colour is getting harder to find. Tall spikes of flowers are borne from Jul-Sept. Prefers moist sunny site. Might need a little winter protection if the weather gets very frosty. Height 60cm (2'). Colours vary.
