A truly wonderful plant from the Canary Islands. Its lovely dark foliage is beautiful enough to grow on its own but add deep orange 'foxglove-like' flowers during most of the summer and autumn and you can see why this is worth growing. It is however susceptible to frost so is best taken into a greenhouse for the winter. Will eventually form a large(ish) shrub. Prefers a sunny or semi shaded spot. Very unusual and sought after. Height up to 1.2m (4')
