An unusual iris with bamboo like leaves that are semi evergreen. From mid spring onwards it produces sprays with up to 30 pale blue crested flowers, with a yellow central stripe variable purple spotting, that are 2-5 cms. across. Prefers a sheltered site. Interesting and unusual. Height and spread 30-45cm.
