A selected seedling from a collection from Mount Unzen in Japan. This stunningly coloured lacecap Hydrangea is a dwarf form that has deep blue flowers (Pink in alkaline conditions) and reddish tints to the leaves, especially if grown in full sun. Height 1m (3') in 10 years. Prefers a moisture retentive soil in sun or semi shade. Very Unusual.
