A perennial herb easy to grow in full sun in a well drained soil. it has a slightly pungent, spicy, savoury, clove-like flavour and blends well with other herbs especially Rosemary. Its uses are many flavouring all meats, vegetables, casseroles, soups, stuffing, meat loaf, marinades and pates. Excellent for herb bread and flavoured butters. Good with mushrooms, fried potatoes, carrots (and other vegetables) and in omelettes.
