Grapefruit mint has a zesty citrus flavour and mid green slightly hairy leaves. Excellent for adding to drinks. It produces long spikes of incredibly attractive purple flowers in mid to late summer. This mint is worth growing for its flowers alone, as well as its culinary attributes. Prefers a sunny or partially shaded well drained site where it will soon form large clumps. Grow in a container (as it likes to spread).
