An interesting plant forming evergreen mounds of fine, black banded, rush-like leaves. Excellent in moist soils and as a marginal plant, especially for masking the edges of liners and water features. Can also be used effectively in a container to give year round interest. Good in most conditions including semi shade but does not do well in dry sites. Height 30cm (12')
