A charming small flowered Dianthus from the alpine meadows of central and south East Europe. A semi evergreen plant that will be completely cut down to the ground in severe weather, sprouting again in the spring. Fresh green foliage then gives rise to tall stems of single pink flowe5rs. Excellent for wildlife planting. Prefers a sunny well drained alkaline soil. Try with grasses and in meadow plantings. Deadhead to encourage more flowers. Will self seed. Height 30-40cm (12-15')
