A rather unusual glossy leaved shrub that is very rare in cultivation. Scented pale lilac pink pendulous flowers are small yet irresistible to bees and butterflies. Preferring a sunny sheltered spot it is a rather niche plant but well worth the effort. Fairly speedy in growth it will get to a height of 3m (10') reasonably quickly. Evergreen.
