Chrysosplenium davidianum is a creeping perennial forming evergreen mats of foliage. These bear masses of lime green-yellow Euphorbia-like flowers in early spring. As it prefers a moist semi shaded site it is a good plant for ground cover in the woodland garden where it soon forms thick mats. Prefers an acid soil. One of those plants you either love or hate.
