Unusual deciduous herbaceous perennial of what is normally a shrubby plant. Mounds of much divided, green leaves with a wide white margin. Whorled spikes of hooded rich-blue tubular flowers which smell a bit like oxtail soup!, during late summer. Prefers a retentive well drained soil in sun or part shade. Height 60cm
