A good attractive easy-to-grow tree that will thrive in most conditions including wet and poor soils. Being nitrogen fixing it doesn't deplete the nutrients in the soil as readily as some trees. Beautiful golden foliage are preceded by yellow, red tinged catkins on the bare branches. Forms a large majestic tree eventually.
