A typically 'Cottage garden' plant whose tall yet compact narrow spikes of lilac blue flowers are rather special and give the garden another dimension. When seen at the back of the border the large clumps can be quite majestic. Prefers a sunny site. Height 90cm (3') Jul-Sep.
