Perennial shrubby plants with a very low growing lax evergreen habit. Clusters of pinkish-white flowers are followed by the traditional red cranberry fruit. These are quite small and sour tasting and traditionally used to make sauce. Pretty reddish autumn and winter foliage adds to the attraction. Needs acidic moist conditions in full sun.
