These attractive easily grown alpines are great for troughs & pots as well as sunny spots in the garden. Lovely reddish, osten green centred, sometimes mahogany rosettes are borne in very neat tight whorls. Prefers a sunny well drained poor spot. Will grow almost without soil. Best in a poorer site where they seem to persist better, especially in the wet winters.
