Very exciting bulbous perennial. Whorls of dark green leaves bear large spheres of stunningly deep blue flowers in May/June. A really exciting plant that we are still learning about. The whole plant has a degree of class about it, right down to the emerging flower bud. Harmful if eaten. Prefers a sunny sheltered well drained spot.
