A rather attractive vigorous Adrian Slack hybrid. Slightly curved dark red pitchers have slight deep purple veining. Spectacular red flowers, held high, are borne in spring. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth.Hardy. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. Hardy, Efficient fly wasp catchers they grow in full sun in moist or wet acidic nutrient-less soils. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter.
