(25 Seed minimum per packet, open pollinated) A nice inverse vein Sarracenia with medium sized pitchers and good green venation set amidst dark orange lids. A bold red patch on the throat is an added attraction. Slow to bulk up this unusual variety originates from Paul Gardner of PJ plants. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of soft (rain) water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Good as container plants. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for long term plant health. Good flycatchers for a sunny window sill. Plants may be sent bare rooted.
