A really attractive Salvia, reaching 120-150cm (4-5') in height and flowering throughout the summer and autumn months. Preferring a sunny well drained spot it makes quite a statement with its bright cerise flowers. These are complimented by black calyxes giving a lovely two tone effect. Fresh green leaves add to the attraction. Take cuttings as a precaution against winter losses. Can grow up to 2m (6') in a sheltered place.
