Plants for dry sites

When you think of plants for dry sites your mind springs to the thought of cacti immediately, but that doesn’t have to be the case.  There are a large range of plants that are drought tolerant and are quite capable of coping with dry conditions once established.  By conditioning the soil before hand and a careful watering regime, adding mulch to help retain a little moisture in the soil can all help.
