A biennial or short lived perennial evening primrose, whose red stems bear spikes of funnel-like flowers of a pale primrose yellow from deep red buds. Blooms from June to October. Easily grown. Allow to seed to replace old parent plants. Can sometimes be rather invasive. Height 45cm (18')
