A really beautiful small tree suitable where a specimen is needed. Bare branches bear an abundance of richly scented narrow cup- shaped flowers in a soft pale pink, heavily flushed with deep pink towards the base. Prefers an acidic soil. Apr - May. Quite spectacular when in full flower.
